December 2011:

* NEW YORK, NY - Matt is currently making his Broadway debut in the new musical BONNIE & CLYDE!  He plays the role of Deputy Bud Russell, and understudies the roles of Buck and Ted.  Previews began Nov. 4, and the show opened Dec. 1 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, 236 West 45th Street, NYC.  For more information, click here. 

* EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND - Matt starred alongside his wife, Christy Hall, in the world premiere of YOURS, ISABEL - a new play also written by Christy.  YOURS, ISABEL was invited to take place in the Edinburgh Festival FRINGE, the largest arts festival in the world.  Performances ran Aug. 8 - 29. 

* BEND, OREGON - Matt recently starred in the musical, "tick, tick...BOOM!" at Innovation Theatre Works in Bend, Oregon.  "tick, tick...BOOM!" is the autobiographical musical about Jonathan Larson, the composer of RENT, as he is about to turn 30 years old.  Matt played Jon, a role he understudied in Los Angeles in 2006.  The show ran June 8 - 25. 

* NEW YORK, NY - Matt performed in a concert of famed composer Scott Alan's music at Birdland on April 18.  For more information on this sold-out concert, click here.

* NEW YORK, NY - Matt again starred in TRAILS, a new musical.  TRAILS received two staged readings at off-Broadway's New World Stages on Arpil 26 and 28.  TRAILS artfully tells the story of two young men who are struggling to mend a long-estranged friendship, all the while hiking, and enduring the rigors of, the entirety of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine.  Matt returned in the role of Seth, the role he originated in Los Angeles, and at the New York Musical Theatre Festival.  Check out www.trailsthemusical.com for more information.

* LOS ANGELES, CA - Matt filmed the lead in a new musical comedy film called SUDDEN DEATH, which is the story about a society where people start dying suddenly, and the major symptom is that they all break into song and dance moments before they drop dead. * WILMINGTON, NC - Matt completed work on the independent feature film PORT CITY.  He plays the lead role David Garner.  PORT CITY is a dark ensemble comedy also starring Jodie Sweetin (FULL HOUSE), Natalie Canerday (SLINGBLADE, OCTOBER SKY), John Wesley Shipp (DAWSON'S CREEK), and Barbara Alyn Woods (ONE TREE HILL).  Stay up to date with PORT CITY at www.portcitythefilm.com.
