August 2010:

* NEW YORK, NY - Opening October 8, Matt will star in TRAILS, a new musical with book by Christy Hall, lyrics by Jordan Mann, and music by Jeff Thomson.  TRAILS has been invited to be a part of the 2010 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF).  It will run through October 16 at the TBG Theatre in Manhattan.  TRAILS artfully tells the story of two young men who are struggling to mend a long-estranged friendship, all the while hiking, and enduring the rigors of, the entirety of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine.  Matt will return in the role of Seth, the role he originated in Los Angeles.  Visit www.nymf.org for more information.

* LOS ANGELES, CA - Matt recently starred in TRAILS, a new musical, as part of the Festival of New American Musicals, in conjunction with Actors Co-op Hollywood.

* NEW YORK, NY - Matt performed in the cast of the one-night benefit concert of the Tony Award-winning Maury Yeston/Peter Stone musical TITANIC.  It was presented June 21 in Manhattan to benefit the New York Society for Ethical Culture.

* WASHINGTON, DC - Matt recently starred in the new play YOURS, ISABEL by Christy Hall April 22 - May 9, 2010 as part of the Capital Fringe Festival.  YOURS, ISABEL is a two-person play based on real-life love letters between Nick D'Angelo, a young serviceman during WWII, and the feisty young woman he left behind, Isabel McMeniman.

* LOS ANGELES, CA - Matt filmed the lead in a new musical comedy film called SUDDEN DEATH, which is the story about a society where people start dying suddenly, and the major symptom is that they all break into song and dance moments before they drop dead. * WILMINGTON, NC - Matt recently completed work on the independent feature film PORT CITY.  He plays the lead role David Garner.  PORT CITY is a dark ensemble comedy also starring Jodie Sweetin (FULL HOUSE), Natalie Canerday (SLINGBLADE, OCTOBER SKY), John Wesley Shipp (DAWSON'S CREEK), and Barbara Alyn Woods (ONE TREE HILL).  Stay up to date with PORT CITY at www.portcitythefilm.com
